My Work

I’m Porsche — a storyteller working across the page, the screen, and the culture.

I’ve written, produced, and hosted a television series, created award-winning digital scripted work, published books, and partnered with global brands to bring stories of identity and representation to life. My work always returns to what’s important to me: helping people feel seen.

I got my start in media and culture early in my career, working across corporate and creative spaces—from VH1 and Heart & Soul Magazine to digital studios and independent projects. I’ve created and starred in scripted series (including Hungry, produced by All Def Digital), hosted the television show New Soul Kitchen on TV One, and worked on cultural storytelling projects like the scripted series Put You On for Nike. All of it is rooted in the things I care about most: humor, culture, and storytelling.

My first children’s book, Twins, But Different, is inspired by my twin boys and the multicultural world they’re growing up in. It’s the beginning of a series that explores identity, belonging, and the small moments that shape our families. In addition to writing, I visit schools and libraries to read the book with students and speak about creativity, representation, and finding your voice.

Across everything I make, I’m interested in the same question:
How can a story help someone feel more seen?

I live in Los Angeles with my sons, August and Berlin, who played Baby Devante on the hit show Black-ish.

26 Essays in 2026

In 2026, I’m challenging myself to write 26 essays — one every two weeks — in an effort to break my habit of not sharing my work. Writing has always been the place where my life and my voice meet, and this year, I’m inviting you into that process. Some pieces will be personal, some playful, some uncomfortable — all of them honest.
