Vegan French Toast
4 thick slices of soft bread
1/2 cup dairy-free milk
2 tbsp chickpea flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp. Maple Syrup
1 tbsp vegan butter
Whisk the milk, chickpea flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and syrup together in a bowl.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter and allow to melt.
Dip a slice of the bread into the mixture and coat well on each side. Place in the skillet and fry on medium heat for a minute or two on each side until golden brown. Repeat with the other slices.
Serve with fruit, compote, or syrup. Enjoy!
